ItaliaStephanie Italia Ricci, born on the 29th of October, 1986, is a American-Canadian actress. She was famous for her performance as April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television show Chasing Life, and for playing White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions in small roles in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. In the same year, Ricci had a regular role in the show in the role of Sasha in the comedy series Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. In 2010, she was a co-star in the Cartoon Network live-action series Unnatural History as Maggie Winnock. She also appeared as herself in an Clean & Clear ad. In 2011, Ricci was a part in the short film Valediction. Ricci played a small role in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's first film as a director Don Jon in 2013.
