Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a employee of a plant. Sharon was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Three siblings are hers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered academically gifted in her early years and entered the second grade when she was five. Saegertown School located in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Her graduation was in 1975. In addition, she competed in and was crowned at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to explore a career as an actress. Within a month, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe Stone spent a full year living in Milano as well as Paris. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling within Europe she decided to pursue acting in Europe while she was there. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews when she was 20.
