Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated during the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in third round TKO. She outclassed Lina with her ground and pound tactics, resulting in the TKO 2nd round win. Ladd continued to dominate and scored an even stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
